100 things about me

1. I am the mother of 2, almost 3 boys

2. I've been married to my husband Jeff for 8 years 4 1/2 months

3. We only dated 2 1/2 months before we were engaged, and 9 months before we were married. And no, there was no baby, despite what people probably thought. I just love him.

4. I love coupons

5. I have 2 brothers

6. I have 3 sisters

7. I am the youngest

8. When I was young, I jumped off my dads scaffolding, caught my foot and landed face first on the cement pad in front of our garage. Got 2 black eyes.

9. My favorite thing for breakfast is toast, I know, very exciting

10. My favorite movie is "Robin Hood Men in Tights" and I own 2 copies

11. I don't like to give out my age over the internet because I'm afraid of identity theft

12. I had braces when I was a kid. Very cute when you're already the overweight kid in your class, and now have braces. Nope, didn't get teased at all! (can you sense the sarcasm?)

13. My first car was a 92' Plymouth Sundance. We retired it this past summer when we finally got a truck. We've attempted to replace it before, but it always found it's way back to us.

14. Got $100 for the old car at a scrap yard. It won't be finding it's way back now.

15. My favorite thing to wear to bed is a pair of pj pants and my husbands very old t-shirt. I think it may be from when he was in high school, or not long after. He gave it to me the last time I was pregnant. Probably knew he wasn't getting it back anyway.

16. I wear the colors black and burgundy a lot. This was pointed out to me just recently.

17. I believe that we were created.

18. I do not believe that the earth is millions of years old.

21. I am the most indecisive person I know, just ask my husband.

22. I think that I will one day get cancer.

23. I have green eyes.

24. I will never tell you how much I weigh, and I hate it that they weigh me at pre-natal appointments. Is it really necessary?

25. I weigh myself almost everyday.

26. I love cake

27. I have 6 nieces, 6 nephews, 1 great niece and 2 great nephews!

28. I love going to the movies

38. I love things that smell like coconut. Makes me feel all tropical or something.

40. My left calf is bigger than my right calf. There are medical reasons for these things.

41. I'm afraid to die. There, I said it.

48. I miss my grandma

49. I wish I could make buns.

50. Before I go to bed, I have to make sure the toaster is unplugged and the stove is off. Even if I didn't use the stove or the toaster that day. I also check on my boys about 3 times each, to make sure they're okay. I think I'm a little nuts.

You only dated 2 1/2 months?! Wow. We dated over five years - but I guess getting married at 15 wouldn't have been a good idea, would it?
I will agree with you - Coke is WAAAAAY better than Pepsi.
And I still have beets in my garden from last summer too. Shhh, don't tell anyone. ;)

Sonya May!! I'm ashamed at you. Pickled beets are delicious!

Ange - I do not remember the shampoo conversation!

Oh I know they're tasty - but we're still eating pickled beets from the summer of 2007. And I was all "canned" out.
Please tell us of the shampoo conversation Ange. Cause I buy the cheapest stuff too. (Provided it's a name brand). ;)

I love your list! full of big and small things. It's so funny when you're reading someone's 100 you come up with like a 100 comments, then get to the end and can't remember them.

This one I do remember though: You beat Tom and I's 98 days to engagement! That's awesome.
I think people were expecting us to be expecting too. No baby over here either though; just in love and knew he/I was the one. Period.

Can I strike a deal with some of you? Next time I'm in town I'll bring my laundry and while I vacuum your house...

I'm so glad to hear that I'm not the only one who didn't finish cleaning out her garden. oops, wasn't supposed to tell anyone. And I suppose getting married at 15isn't such a good idea.

The shampoo thing wasn't all that big of a deal. Tiffany, you were still living on Pembina and I may have stayed over night. We got talking shampoo and you told me something like there are somethings that are worth spending money on, like good shampoo. Or something like that. I can't remember exactly what it was but after that I started buying better shampoo. I think you used L'Oreal Vive at the time. I think I may have used yours that day.

Sorry girls, don't like honey dill. I have a story about honey dill sauce. Maybe I'll share it. But just think, next time we go for lunch you can have my honey dill sauce!

Hey Candice. I like hearing when other people got engaged quickly too! Sometimes you just know. I couldn't imagine my life in 40 years and him not being a part of it. So I knew. I believe it was God's plan for us.

I'll do your laundry for you. I don't mind.

Hmmm, maybe I'll have to start buying the good stuff again! I tend to buy cheaper stuff now since I have to share it with people who don't care!

The stuff I used to buy was like $3 for a 1L bottle. It may have gone up to $4, but this was quite a few years ago. I don't spend a lot now either. It's just not the super cheap stuff.

I love your list. I don't know how you guys come up with 100 things all at once. I had to split it up... still not done. One thing that you missed was that you have a fabulous sister in law. Maybe that can be #101. he he

That's is definately on my list, sorry I missed it. Maybe there's a spot on your list for it, since you have one too:)

This list took me a quite a long time to put together. But I am looking forward to part 4 & 5!
