I know I still have a week to go until my "due date", but I'm getting quite annoyed that I haven't gone into labour yet.
See, the problem is, I'm never exactly sure of when my "due date" is. It could have been as early as last Sunday, but my ultrasound says April 2. So, I've been going by April 2. But the part of me that hopes it was March 22 has been waiting ever since. I would love to have this baby in March, but who am I kidding? I never have my babies early. Maybe by Easter.
Here's hoping those wonderful labour pains will start soon! Maybe even today?

Keep going by the 2nd, you'll drive yourself less crazy that way!
It's funny, today when I saw an email from you in my inbox I thought "would she email me to tell me she's in labour? Wouldn't a phone call be easier?" lol.
I know how you feel, and I'm definitely crossing my fingers for you! I seriously thought it was going to be last night!
That's cute, Easter would be neat! But I'm sure he will come a little sooner than that. So interesting that you know approx when your baby's b-day will be, prob in the next week, but as of yet, he has no idea! That thought came to me the other day.
Maybe right now!!!
Still here! Sorry!!!
Gah!! This is suspenseful...
With my other boys, I always went past my due date. Maybe that will help with the suspense, I don't know. Sorry to keep you all waiting. I don't mean to do that:)
I have a question: At this stage of the game, do you plan your day around potential delivery of a child???
For example: When you're out grocery shopping. Do you try to not buy too many frozen items just in case you need to stop by the delivery room on the way home? if you went into labour, would you drop them off first anyways?
Candice you're so funny. In case Ange is off having a baby (not that she is, not that I know of) I'll give you MY opinion! Generally, you don't plan everything with the intent that you only have a short time. You sort of just go day by day doing your normal stuff, or else you go nuts! It's best to carry on and not just wait and wait like crazy.
As for not buying frozen stuff - generally you have time to go home and drop it off. Labour can last forever (not that it always does, Tennyson was 2 hours). I know people who have started labour and then gone out for dinner or gone to a movie. A friend of mine spent the day at the zoo while waiting for contractions to get more intense.
You're not pregnant are you? :)
Nope, no fetal-development happening over here. We are only allowed so many bags on the plane and we couldn't afford to give one up to be full of diapers so we decided we will just have to wait.
Yeah, I didn't figure the timing would be that good!
Okay, this woman has been M.I.A. all day...Maybe this *is* the day?!?!
No, she's at home. I just talked to her (7:15pm). We were going to go walking but Jeff had to take Aaron to the clinic for a possible ear infection.
If it happens on April 1st, you and Jeff are going to have to do quite a bit of convincing that you actually had the baby... :)
Lyla; How true!
No April 1st baby here, probably not the 2nd either. Grrrrr
That's probably good though...Poor kids born on April Fools!
Child: "It's my birthday today! I feel special"
Bully: "Not it isn't, and no you're not. Can't fool me."
How about NOW????
Sorry Candice - Ange was at my house all evening, no baby yet! I told her that I want to visit her and the baby at the hospital tomorrow afternoon, so she better have him tonight!
I thought I heard you were having a Blogger convention without me. Ugh, I missed it!
Maybe we can have another in September???
I think we have to DEFINITELY get together before you leave the country. Let us know a little in advance when you're coming through, and we'll try and get Ange, Sonya, Heather, you, me and Lyla all together for a dinner out or something! (sorry if i forgot anyone!)
Congratulations!!!!! Ah! How exciting.
Congrats Ange!!! Woot woot!
YAY! Baby is here!
