I'm sure there are many mom's out there with the same problem I have. I don't know what to feed my son Aaron. What you think he likes one time, he doesn't the next. And he won't eat anything with noodles in it. What kid doesn't like noodles? He is so picky. Jamin was like that when he was that age too, just not this bad (he liked noodles). He's a pretty good eater now, so I'm hopeful Aaron will be one day too.
I'm getting so frustrated.
That's my vent for the day!

Do you think if I put honey dill sauce on his food that he would eat it then?
lol!
K, I'm no expert; heck, I don't even own kids, but I've heard repeatedly that most dip-able things actually are a hit.
Can anyone tell me if this is true? Because textbook knowledge and cute lists of 'tips and tricks for nutrition in children' only go so far.
Ketchup helps sometimes!
Ketchup helps a lot! ;) At least in this household. And if Dillon can "dip it" he REALLY likes it.
Hmmm...I'm not really sure Ange. Dillon willingly eats his vegetables, so he's not that tough to please.
Pizza seems to be a big hit with Dillon, as well as my nieces and nephews. And we like it dipped in honey dill sauce. Honest! It's kind of sweet with the honey in it - maybe HE will like it?
Dillon's favorites (excluding noodles) would be weiners (dipped in ketchup), grilled cheese, vegetables dipped in ranch - especially cucumbers, pickles, pancakes with either syrup or strawberries, toast with nutella, cheesewhiz or jam, pork and beans, alphagetties.
But if he likes something one time and not the next, it's really hard to know. Maybe it depends on his mood? I'm not always in the mood for vegetables myself. ;)
fruit dipped in yogourt?? if he likes fruit??
I can get him to eat fruit without much problem, and he'll eat cooked carrots (sometimes). The biggest problem is supper. Meat, potatoes (or pasta) and veggies. Even on days when you think he would be relly hungry by supper, he's just not that interested. I'm sure it will pass. One day all my boys will eat me out of house and home and I'll be wishing for the days they didn't eat so much. lol.
He seems to like the fruit dipped in yogurt. At least when I was eating it he did:)
Thanks for the ideas. I'll have to try some and maybe let him dip things more.
That's awesome that Dillon likes his veggies!
My kids would pretty much eat anything but I would have to do the vrooom vroom airplane thing. That seemed to be a big distraction. I know that doesn't always work....they get that figured out pretty fast too. I've been out of the loop too long to offer any real advise...sorry.
This post is way old already!
Oh Ange, where art thou?
Hello? Is anyone home??
